The actor (who played a young Clark Kent in Man of Steel) will recur on Season 4 of this MTV hit, the network announced today via Twitter.
Look for Sprayberry to appear on multiple episodes as Liam, a cocky, athletic freshman who perfect grades, oodles of charm… and upcoming issues with the supernatural happenings around town.

Teen Wolf Season 3 still has a ways to go, but MTV ordered a 12-episode fifth season a few months ago. It will kick off in late 2014.
Unless there are even more of the 13 types of Kitsune rambling through the halls of Beacon Hills High School, Stiles is the second and he's the worst -- a Nogitsune, meaning void.
Taking a little trip back in time with Argent to his first solo mission was a pretty cool way to introduce what would become one of the biggest stories to hit Teen Wolf in some time.
The Kitsune myth has surrounded his family for decades and he was completely unaware. Also, apparently, were the Stilinskis. Unless I'm missing something, we just learned Stiles is a Kitsune, which means he's a supernatural, right?

That makes me wonder why Derek could see it keenly on Kira but has never noticed on Stiles. Perhaps by being "void" you would give off no indication at all and that's why an Oni needs to drop by and put what I thought was an inverted 5 behind your ear. Turns out that was an S, to mark "self" and not an imposter (Kitsune trickster spirit -- it must all be in there somewhere).
This hour brought things together really nicely. Without a doubt it was my favorite in quite some time. If you watch Wolf Watch after the show, I could have added "Number of times brought to tears = 4" to their list.
When Kira asked to see Scott's face and then touched it in wonder (the music during this installment was incredible and helped drive tears), again when Stiles called Melissa mom, then when Isaac was silenced with a kiss and an ass grab and finally when I realized it was Stiles who was the Nogitsune. That last one came with a mewling "Noooooo" to accompany the wet eyes.
Seriously, quite embarrassing.
However, it bears mentioning because it has been so long since things have gelled so completely with the characters. Yes, there are still shippers out there hoping for Scott and Allison to get back together, but the chemistry between Tyler Posey and Arden Cho as well as Daniel Sharman and Crystal Reed is out of this world.
The way Allison was able to shut up Isaac when he was worried about looking like a silly teenager was so sexy. I can't remember a scene like that between she and Scott. And if you thought Isaac brought new life to a werewolf in a suit, don't be afraid to vote for him in our 17 Hottest Werewolves poll... yowl!
Scott's pack is taking shape whether he likes it or not. Aiden and Ethan taking it upon themselves to ride his flank as protection detail to get on his good side was nifty while it lasted. They were never far away, even when he thought he dodged them. Derek was better at hiding and followed him unnoticed. He's been missed. Where did he leave Peter, anyway?
After Stiles admitted himself into the hospital and Melissa had some time to think about it, she recalled symptoms of another patient that matched his -- Claudia Stilinski. As far as I can recall, they've never addressed what caused her death. She must have been a Kitsune, as well. We can only hope that having a pack to rally around the darkness will save him, because things don't look so good right now.
What's interesting is that Kitashi didn't make any allowances for a Nogitsune who was possessed or not, just a Nogitsune -- to let the Oni kill it no matter who it is. That makes it sound like there is no way to come back from it once you've discovered you're that type of Kitsune.
As Stiles can reach directly into the Oni and pull out their essence (assuming that is what the fireflies represent) he seems to be a powerful dark void. It seemed like he absorbed the other two Oni directly into himself. Part of Stiles is still in there, because he can still be himself when he needs to be. It's pretty confusing (trickster!).
Mr. McCall was feeling fairly smug about his chances of ripping Sheriff Stilinski out of his position. Now that he's witnessed the supernatural (did Melissa drag him away before the wolves came out?), I wonder if he'll be more willing to listen to what people have to say. Not just the words, but the way the present evidence. A good agent should be looking for the whole picture, but he's been using his job as a vendetta against the Sheriff.
I doubt he won't pull through, although it would have been awfully traumatic for him to die just after Scott essentially declared him a sperm donor.
They only mentioned four other types of Kitsune that Kira may be: Celestial, wild, ocean and thunder. Given her aura, I wonder if fox or fire are specific types and she's one of the two, or if foxfire is one itself. Surely they'll spill the beans and not leave us hanging.

When Stiles starts to question his health and his sanity, he checks himself into the hospital and puts himself into Melissa's care. She is worried and discovers a similarity between his case and another that she finds peculiar.
Argent takes Allison and Isaac and tracks down a man with one silver finger he met in a garden 24 years earlier, when Argent was on his first solo mission. It's when he managed to get the mask. The man explains who the men are, what they are doing why. It is not anything as you would expect.

Stiles kidnapped himself, pretend trapped himself and scared the crap out of himself while he realized that the one thing that everyone has but they can't get rid of is their shadow. In Stiles' case, it's not just any shadow, but a Nogitsune the darkest of spirits - a void.
Even Derek was shocked to think that it would choose skinny, defenseless Stiles as his body of choice, but I found what Kira said interesting:
Kira: You're going to tell Scott that Barrow might have used foxfire created by me to jump start the Nogitsune's power inside Stiles. Basically that I helped the dark spirit take control his best friend. Derek: You should probably wait here.
All the shadow talk, together with what we learned about Stiles' (oh, dear God, no) seemingly terminal condition similar to his mother's - frontotemporal dementia - makes me wonder whether it was something that he's had all along or if it crawled in when he left the door ajar after saving the parents. I'm still not sure about that.

Let's take a moment, though, to think about what I just mentioned above. Unless the Nogitsune business has temporarily shrunken Stiles brain, he's not in good shape no matter what happens from here on out. Are there witches? Healers? Can we hold out hope for Stiles?
That said, who or what is Kira's mother? A Nogitsune hunter? She's obviously a kitsune of some sort and has probably been on the lookout for Kira to show her first hint of powers. They both have the same effect on light bulbs, so maybe the type of Nogitsune you are carries down the line... which again brings me back to Stiles and his mother. Are we certain she didn't have some Japanese in her family line?
Considering the messages that Allison had on her phone, and Mr. Yakimura's thoughts that Oak Creek wasn't really a camp in California, I'm wondering if there wasn't a camp that might have remained hidden. Perhaps one that held Stiles' family line and that family line is somehow reaching out to him through Allison and Lydia and her Banshee powers.
Something is going on with the whispers and the messages. I don't believe they're all misdirects. Lydia's powers go far beyond what we understand, and certainly what she has grasped at this point, but that doesn't mean they're wrong. What she's hearing is telling her something that she needs to put together in a line and I have to believe Allison's messages are a part of it.
They're so damned interesting, aren't they? If Beacon Hills has been a beacon for the supernatural for as long as they've said, then Oak Creek might have been an internment camp for the Japanese supernatural. They would definitely not be lumped in with the regular citizens they were trying to keep out of society, it would be too dangerous.
Other cool things:
Agent McCall finally seems to have gotten his head out of his ass, and he was the one to find Stiles. How long do you think it will last?
Melissa looked hot during the entire episode. Her hair was all done up and she was on it. Too bad Sheriff Stilinski was worried about his boy.
I enjoyed Derek and Kira getting some face time, and Derek giving some love to Scott and sharing tips and tricks to keep Beacon Hills safe. Very cool.
That opening scene with Lydia and Aiden seems a lifetime ago, doesn't it?

Indeed, not much drives a series - be it a comedy or a drama - more than a solid love triangle.
From a lawyer who doesn't know whether to follow her head or her heart... to a vampire stuck between two brothers... to a serious scandal in the White House... here are 12 twisted TV love triangles that aren't likely to get untangled any time soon:
For most of the hour, Scott thought he had his old friend Stiles back at his side, but it was one colossal setup -- the Nogitsune wanted Scott to feed on all of the chaos and misery it created so that it could, in turn, suck it out of Scott like he was a giant buffet table.
Was any of what we witnessed courtesy of our old buddy Stiles? Who the hell knows?
Here'ssomething that I can't help but be bothered about. This whole Kitsune trickster spirit thing. Unless I've missed something monumental, and I don't think I have, every Kitsune is a trickster. While that isn't necessarily cause for alarm, it does make me wonder how much we can trust other Kitsune. I'm lookin' at you Kira and Kira's mom.
Being a trickster could just mean they like to have fun, but until I see the whole list rolled out before me with definitions attached, I'm going to hold back on preparing wedding vows for Scott and Kira no matter how many times she sucks the electricity out of a tense situation and saves the day.
Mom obviously knows Kira is onto her Kitsune self (or else her daughter is a complete jackass -- why else would she be bounding into open water and grabbing live electrical wires) and yet Mr. Yukimura is asking if she's "told her yet." What are they holding back?
What are the "tails" she's breaking to bring forth the Oni? Is it like lives of a cat? There are only so many available and then you die? We need to know these things. Sooner rather than later please. Why? Because it's so damned interesting. I just want to know. Ya know?
Poor Scott. He was out in the thick of the chaos, thinking he was doing good by taking away pain in people who were suffering only to later learn it was all choreographed by his best friend who was going to twist the knife in his abdomen to really rub in the pain. Did we know Scott was capable of taking so much pain upon himself?
Thank God Isaac didn't die. He's not out of the woods yet, but it seems like he'll survive only because he's a werewolf. Everyone else was gone upon stepping in the water.
We've all been wondering why the Malia story came and went without further mention. Wow! What a great reveal. Of course I have questions. Why is she a coyote and not a wolf? Is she a hybrid? Who is her mother? At the very least we know we'll see her again and that Peter isn't going anywhere.
Learning more about Lydia's powers as a Banshee and why she screams (to help her focus and cut out distractions) was a nice tie-in to the Talia and claws mystery, as well. All of those pieces felt like they were hanging out there, but they were just waiting for the right moment to release the information. Well worth the wait, don't you think?
Deaton had perfect timing with the lichen serum (of course) and he'll heal Scott. It looks like Stiles will be up against his own mind and the Nogitsune again -- will he be able to defeat it given what was discovered with the MRI?

With every passing episode, the first half of Teen Wolf Season 3 becomes a distant memory.
All of the Alpha pack infighting had bearing only insofar as it brought out Scott's status as a True Alpha.
It was trying to get through some of that story, but it was worth suffering through the more tedious moments to get to what we're experiencing now.
As the only character without some sort of special ability, Stiles was the heart and humor of Teen Wolf. His transformation into the terror has been simply riveting.
Both the character and the actor (Dylan O'Brien) who play him have earned their moment in the spotlight and Teen Wolf Season 3 Episode 20 showcased the talents of both yet again.
From the character of Stiles we were treated to unending compassion and concern for his friends and, heck, the community at large. He selflessly checked himself into Eichen House thinking it would be best for everyone concerned, but once there he was even worried about the patients locked in with him.
It was hard not to be worried when someone committed suicide immediately upon his arrival. If you've wondered where Ms. Morell has been spending her time, apparently some of it has been at Eichen House. It made sense given her profession in general, and even more when Stiles ran into Malia's fist in the hallway.
In a town like Beacon Hills when the supernatural (is that what we call them?) don't know what they are or how to handle it, they probably end up in Eichen House. Having Morell around to help would be helpful. Knowing she has a drug used for lethal injection on hand perhaps not so much.
The best relationships always seem to grow from some sort of tempestuous beginning, so let's keep our fingers crossed for our favorite Nogitsune occupied human and the werecoyote, shall we? How hot was that?!?
Even if everything else fails and Stiles never comes back to us, we can rest easy knowing that he got a little action with Malia -- Peter Hale's daughter! Remember how Peter was rolling on the floor in agony in Teen Wolf Season 3 Episode 19 after learning he was a father? Try to imagine the moment he learns about Malia... and then that she's involved with Stiles. We need a GIF for that. Seriously.
Hooking up with Malia proved to be too much for Stiles, however, because of his massive heart and his weakness for caring for others. He allowed the Nogitsune in to save her.

That's where Dylan O'Brien reminded us he doesn't need Teen Wolf to be a success.
As I watched O'Brien transform from the bound Stiles with tears streaming down his cheek to the possessed Nogitsune Stiles wickedly punching Oliver in the face with a fearless glance and an inner strength that O'Brien rarely gets to portray through our Stiles, it was difficult not to imagine him leaving the series.
He has range that goes far beyond what he's given weekly on Teen Wolf and beyond what he's been given so far in films. We can't be the only ones taking note of his incredible talent. He's going to have a very full calendar.
There have been various theories mentioned about what might save Stiles and at least one comment came with the observation that changing him into a werewolf might save him from his brain disease. Now that the gang uncovered one of the scrolls that says changing his body would rid him of the Nogitsune, Scott thought turning him would do the trick. Two birds with one stone!
Malia and Stiles found the body of a Nogitsune in the basement and a scroll was buried with him. It must be another way to save Stiles. It seemed to rile up the Nogitsune pretty good, so perhaps it's a better way than changing Stiles' body or one that gets rid of him completely so he can't inhabit another.
There was one question I had about Malia -- did being emotional and close with Stiles give her the blue were-eyes or was she always able to do it and she was tricking Stiles for some reason? Thoughts? I don't believe she's evil.
Scott used his True Alpha spidey senses to save a life rather than take one. Keeping him honorable and unflinching with the constant pressure of Aiden and Ethan at his side is a nice touch.
Araya (better known to us here on TV Fanatic as Bay and Daphne's meddling grandmother on Switched at Birth) the werewolf hunter showed up to check on Argent. I didn't quite catch her purpose, but she's been looking for a specific she-wolf if I remember correctly. Perhaps she meant she-coyote? Peter Hale's daughter would probably be significant to her.
With only three more episodes to go before the season finale and a major death, I'm going to have to ask if your feelings have changed on who we're going to lose. We'll stick with the cast in the credits since Jeff Davis said the title sequence would likely get an update due to the loss.

Teen Wolf this week was essentially a history lesson about Kira and her family.
We've known they were at the heart of the Nogitsune mystery, but to what extent on both the historical level and in the present was a bit surprising.
Really, Teen Wolf Season 3 Episode 21 didn't offer much in the way of forward movement in finding Stiles, although he did offer himself up in the end of his own accord. At one point even Scott pointed out to Noshiku -- but you haven't told us anything.
Exactly. Thanks for the Casablanca story about your love life and why you turned a dude into a Nogitsune by the "whoops" method, but it could have been told with less detail and still had as much impact.
It felt as if because a Japanese character was introduced, someone wanted to give not only a Teen Wolf history lesson, but an American one, as well. If you're of the later MTV generation, however, learning about atrocities is probably the norm in your high schools so the internment camps wouldn't come as a surprise.
In a nutshell, Noshiku is about 900 years old. Kitsune have a very difficult time being destroyed and never become ill. That's why when the flu hit her camp she was guaranteed to survive. Kira knows now why she's so incredibly healthy.
Noshiku fell in love with one of the military police, Reece, they learned a doctor was stealing medication meant for the interred and all hell broke loose. When the MPs killed everyone, an old lady was uncovered as a bitten werewolf. She fought back, igniting Noshiku's lover who died of burns. When Noshiku called upon their ancestors, she invoked the Nogitsune to avenge all of the terror that happened. Unfortunately, the trickster didn't inhabit her, but Reece's dead body instead.
Noshiku had to fight her dead lover to kill the Nogitsune. There were several points that I found rather disjointed. Here they are:
Noshiku claims to be over 900 years old but only aged to adulthood within the last 70 years. Why?
The Nogitsune that Noshiku called inhabited Reece's body, but that doesn't explain why he's still showing in his spirit form as the burned body. Wouldn't a Nogitsune have it's own form before it inhabits someone? The fly goes inside someone, but the fly looks like -- what?
Noshiku seemed to think that everything happening in Beacon Hills could be laid at the hands of Scott, Isaac and Stiles for releasing the demon from the Nemeton when they sacrificed some of themselves to save their parents. She buried it there thinking it was a safe place. Maybe she could have erected a sign. How deep did she bury it with her bare hands? The flies were what caused their parents to go missing. Her attitude bothered me.
The other things from the evening are also suitable for list form, because it was more information dump than cohesive storytelling. Go ahead and take issue with that.
Malia obviously found Scott even though she wasn't in the episode. She delivered the photo and the katana.
We have confirmation on Kira's Kitusne status - Thunder!
Stilinski and Allison in the elevator was one of the highlights of the season. It was especially touching when he told her he'd have a talk with Coach about her grade and that she sounded like a cop.
It was nice to know that Allison is still thinking about Isaac because we've been given no update on his burned status. Here's hoping he comes back soon.
They're really planting the seeds for us to think Derek's going to die. Does that make him the least likely candidate? For weeks the promos have shown him getting shot and tonight his name was on a chess board as the king and one step from check mate. I say red herring.
The week wasn't nearly as compelling as the last few installments have been, but maybe they just needed a break. At some point Kira's history had to be addressed, now we'll find out how it impacts the future of the show.

There were a few big developments and a lot of strife on Teen Wolf Season 3 Episode 22, and it was the strife that threw me off just a bit.
Yes, there are things on Teen Wolf that elude me. If there was a reason for the flies getting into everyone other than strife, please enlighten me.
It did provide for some kick ass fight scenes and we saw Scott's girls taking down some fly-infused wolves side-by-side so it wasn't a waste, by any means. It just didn't provide us with much overall.

Did we even see Isaac after the ooze flushed out of his mouth? He should be healed, much like Stiles was after gutting himself. That's another good byproduct if it came to pass.
So let's chat about some more concrete things, like the gutting. Dylan O'Brien continues to be exemplary with his portrayal of Stiles. He turned on the waterworks at least twice as a way to get people to think he was the old Stiles and it even worked with Melissa.
It was shocking to see Stiles confront Noshiku and gut himself. It kind of makes you wish the ice age promised by global warming would come by swiftly to keep summer and the influx of flies at bay, doesn't it? Will you ever look at a fly without thinking about the Nogitsune again?
McCall saved Sheriff Stilinski's job with the admission the impeachment was all just a ploy to stay in Beacon Hills to talk to Scott. He said Sherlock Holmes himself couldn't solve the crap that goes on in the Bermuda Triangle-like vortex of homicides, disappearances and strange occurrences that Stilinski has been tasked to solve.
Stilinski encouraged McCall to tell Scott the truth about the secret. The same secret that evil Stiles tells Melissa he knows about because he overheard the phone call she made to his father when her marriage ended. What's this secret?? Does it have anything to do with Scott's lineage? Has it come up before and I just missed it?
Deaton was on hand when Aiden and Lydia found Stiles and they thought it was time to try changing Stiles into a werewolf to save him. When Scott thought he might nick an artery if he made the bite, Lydia knew just who to call -- Peter. Hooray!!
Bringing Peter onto the scene was very welcome indeed. He and Lydia soon had a plan for how to help Stiles.
Scott is gonna to try to dig through pale and sickly evil Stiles' mind to unearth pale and sickly real Stiles then guide him back through the depths of his own subconscious.
He brought some much needed humor to the situation and his plan was sound. Once Scott and Lydia were inside Stiles mind, Scott was busily making out with Allison (I wonder if that means anything) and Lydia was lost. When she started bleeding from her nose in the real world Peter was very concerned and this fangirl was all aflutter.
Peter's scream to Lydia pierced the minds of both Lydia and Scott and they found Stiles playing a game with the Nogitsune and when Scott howled, the pieces of the Nogitsune left all of those it had infiltrated and everyone dropped to the ground -- except Stiles.
Only when Peter said he job was done and he wanted payment -- and Lydia revealed his daughter's name -- did Stiles start to cough up the Nogitsune. (Did saying Malia causing Stiles to lose his Nogitsune have any meaning?) It looked like a tapeworm, but it was the wrapping from his wounds. When he climbed to life Scott and Peter wrestled him to the couch and pulled away the bandages. It was Stiles. The real Stiles.
Evil Stiles had disappeared out the front door taking Lydia with him.
Is it wrong to feel a little bit of sadness that Peter will have a daughter to fill his obsession with Lydia? They're so amazing on screen together and now there will be little need for him to haunt her with a daughter he needs to win over.
We still don't know who will die. At least one of the Stiles will die, but losing Evil Stiles won't be all that upsetting. I also don't think that's what anyone means by a death.
This installment revealed some inner conflict when the flies found their way inside of people, but it's nothing to get too worried about. We all have things we'd rather not say out loud and would probably spill if the Nogitsune had his way with us.
But what about the McCalls and the Stilinskis and the secret they've been keeping from Scott? What is it and how much will it hurt Scott?
Next week will bring scenes with Evil Stiles and Lydia and they should be amazing. I can't wait but I'm getting a little nervous about the impending death and this new secret. How about you?? If you want to see it again, you can watch Teen Wolf online!

All of the speculation and supposition and even the hints within Teen Wolf Season 3 Episode 23 didn't adequately prepare for the enormity of the death suffered on the series.
With swords actively slashing at Isaac as he fell to his knees, the woman he loved raised her bow with her newly minted silver arrowhead. And -- as Allison pulled back and released her bow, hitting her target to obliterate the army of Oni the Nogitsune was amassing -- one pierced her in the gut.
Allison Argent died in the arms of her first love.

The hour started out hopeful. With Stiles separated from the Nogitsune he was verified by Noshiko's Oni army to be his true self. Stiles recalled something from Eichen House that helped immensely -- that someone who exhibited a lot of behaviors much like Lydia's was housed there. Perhaps she could help.
Coach had a chance to shine and rise up beyond being the dork of the school when he protected Meredith (the Eichen House Banshee) by standing up to old classmates. Did we know his name before tonight? Even so, he prefers Coach.
Noshiko was trying to teach Kira some new skills by playing the board game Go, where she was acting as the Nogitsune. While it made sense she was attempting to impart on Kira some sense of strategy, it hardly seemed like one game of Go was going to do the trick, especially after hearing everything additional Kira's dad added to the equation.
Scott learned the "secret" that had been kept from him and if that's all there is to it, all I can say is what a disappointment. On a show where werewolves and kanima are the norm, McCall is concerned because he dropped his son on his head as a toddler. What toddler doesn't fall on their head? It proves how out of touch McCall is with Scott that he thinks that's something that would shake Scott to his core.
The Oni mark Stiles as his true self, leaving many thankful. If only they knew how the day would end.

Does anybody care about any of this? Let's get back to Allison.
When she had the moment with Argent, it was prophetic. Taking the time to talk to her father and tell him she loved him was important and pointing out that she never got that time with her mother should have given what was to come away, but I let it roll by.
Sure not to leave fans hanging, Allison and Isaac talked about their night together and whether it was really Isaac or the Nogitsune infused version of him. It was him. He later watched her die; heard her tell her first love that he was her only love as she slipped away.
That's sure to weigh on him, but I don't believe Allison truly meant Scott was her only love. Allison died in the arms of someone arms of one of the most important people in her life. It wasn't the time to be thinking about others, but I don't think it took away from what she had with Isaac. It was just different.
Lydia. Poor Lydia who apparently had a message for her friends to stay away, knowing her friend was going to die learned it was never delivered. She didn't get to say goodbye or tell Allison she loved her. She's left without her best friend.
Argent arrived on the scene moments after his daughter slipped away, unable to move any closer. What will this do to him?
Will we see Gerard again? With the season finale next week, we're not likely to have a funeral. Is one warranted? Should they have one at the beginning of Season 4? Is Kira a worthy replacement for Allison Argent?
There are so many questions and so few answers at this point. With one episode the issues concerning Stiles and the Nogitsune drained away, if only for an hour, while the loss of Allison and the hopes for a reconciliation of her and Scott were forever dashed.
Nobody wants to hear that a professional was caught off guard, but I was. Writing this is difficult. I'm unable to find an adequate expression of what Allison's death means to the series going forward because it honestly never dawned on me that Scott or Allison would be considered.
The hour was relatively sedate and quiet for a series coming upon a season finale. The clues should have been obvious, but while watching Teen Wolf it sometimes becomes a game of searching for what you might be missing rather than what's right in front of you.
Allison came into Teen Wolf Season 3B with a new purpose -- to protect those cannot protect themselves. No more killing. She and Argent came to an understanding that redefined their relationship. Hopefully his newfound friendship with Derek will help him through the incredibly rough waters he's about to experience.

There couldn’t be a more honorable death for the powerful young woman who matured during her three years in Beacon Hills.
Allison was an inspirational role model, a supernatural hunter with a strong heart who broke free of the expectations her family set for her to be someone bigger... who did something more with all of the skills being a member of her family afforded her.
She achieved that goal by fighting as a warrior with her father and her friends to stop evil from taking over Beacon Hills.
Allison was a human, and she was fallible. At one time, the darkness threatened to envelop her, but she rose up and defeated the evil that chased her, driving her to forge a steadfast promise with her father to protect those who could not protect themselves.
